Banga

Banga

Banga dance is a traditional Filipino folk dance from the Kalinga province in the Cordillera region, performed by women balancing clay pots (bangas) on their heads to music, often wind chimes. The dance portrays the daily routine of Kalinga women fetching water, celebrating their strength, balance, and grace, and has become a symbol of Kalinga women's resilience and cultural pride

Pandango Rinconada is a lively, joyful Filipino folk dance from the Bicol region, specifically Nabua, Camarines Sur, performed by both young and old during the Christmas season and community fiestas.

Aray

ARAY  is a flirtatious Philippine folk dance, a Filipinized version of the Spanish Jota, characterized by sprightly, jubilant steps and graceful movements with tambourines or shawls. Performed by couples, the dance playfully expresses the light-hearted frustrations and teasing associated with courtship, with "Aray" (meaning "ouch" in Tagalog) used humorously.

KAPPA MALONG MALONG 

The Malong dance, also known as Kappa Malong-Malong or Sambi sa Malong, is a Filipino folk dance from the Maranao people of Mindanao that demonstrates the many uses of the malong, a versatile, tubular cloth worn as a skirt, shawl, or headpiece. Dancers use basic upper body movements and graceful, elegant hand gestures to show how to fold, wear, and manipulate the malong in different ways.

MALONG

Kasanduayan is a vibrant Muslim folk dance from Mindanao, Philippines, particularly Lake Lanao, known for its colorful royal attire, use of props like a beaded umbrella, and portrayal of Maranao culture. The dance is often performed by men and women in celebratory or storytelling contexts, reflecting grace, tradition, and cultural pride.

Lapay 

Inspired by the lapay, a large bird (often identified as an egret or heron), this dance imitates the bird's graceful flight, gliding, and landing, symbolizing elegance, freedom, and harmony with nature.

The Kuradang is a lively, traditional Visayan folk dance from the Philippines, originating in Bohol and other regions, that depicts a playful, flirtatious courtship between a man and a woman. 

The Tinikling is a traditional Filipino folk dance featuring dancers weaving through bamboo poles that are clapped together by two or more people.Dancers, typically barefoot, mimic the agility of the tikling bird, dodging the rapidly moving poles which symbolize traps.
